RedSea depicts a mechanical and abandoned dystopian seascape created in tribute to a painting by Marcel Janko, The Red Sea (1951). The video functions as an animated collage. Each element in the video is created as a composite of photographs taken at various construction sites in Israel. The ghost rig, built from different parts of buildings, sinks and emerges again and again in the red water.
